Acupressure Massage

Grant is able to help patients by using acupressure massage and in some cases a technique called cupping for common musculo-skeletal problems i.e - neck, upper and lower back; shoulder, elbow and wrist; groin, knee and ankle problems and also sport related injuries.

Acupressure is believed to be the forerunner of Acupuncture as it predates the use of needles to stimulate the flow of Qi. It applies the same principles as Acupuncture, but instead of using needles, pressure is applied directly to 'acupoints' on the body, usually using the hands or fingers.

Through correct diagnosis, proper selection and location of points and efficient stimulation of the Acupuncture Meridian System using finger pressure instead of needles. We are able to offer the fantastic benefits of Acuppresure massage which is ideal for those that are afraid of needles.

The treatments themelves are still 1hr in length however Alternatively you may not have any problem as such and may wish to book a theraputic massage purely for the added health benefits or just for the luxury of massage.

Generally depending on the problem and prognosis Grant will determine if the treatment will be suitable for point simulation, if not he will suggest a suitable alternative if massage therapy is not going to resolve the issue. Treatments can be done in the comfort of your own home and a basic outline of any problems will be discussed before the confirmation of booking.

please ask, remember we are here to help. (Smokers may require a varying amount of treatments depending on their addiction dependency).

The results of research studies suggest a minimum of three acupuncture sessions but we will always adapt and provide sufficient numbers of treatment to help you stop, So we offer 6 to help you fend off the cravings and so give you a much better chance of kicking the habit for good.

Auricular Acupuncture has been seen to reduce up to 90% of withdrawals and cravings, and may form an important part of the process of kicking the habit.
